We are convinced that this will have to be explained in future generations, for example in school books and therefore we don‘t see any reason to change our picture of history, especially regarding this question.“

But at the same time I want to make clear that of course Israel has the obligation to protect its own citizens and concerning security measures, the dictate of proportionality should indeed play a role.“
