Defense Secretary Robert Gates is in Saudi Arabia for talks with King Abdullah. With popular uprisings continuing to shake the region, Iran’s alleged attempts to stir up unrest are likely to top the agenda. Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell said, “Iran will be a major focus of their conversations, both in terms of the regional threat they pose but also lately in the role they‘ve been playing in trying to exploit the unrest in the region to their advantage.”
