Moammar Gadhafi‘s son Saadi told CNN Wednesday he has the authority to negotiate a cease-fire and wants to see an end to months of bloodshed in Libya.

„I have authority,“ Saadi Gadhafi wrote in an e-mail to a CNN reporter who said the communication appeared authentic and resembled previous correspondence.
