Mohamed Soudan, Foreign Relations Secretary of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP, the Muslim Brotherhood‘s political arm), said the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance never stopped active, peaceful revolutionary action since the coup, despite the junta‘s arbitrary arrests, extremely exaggerated rulings and sentences, and the prosecution‘s and the judiciary‘s treatment of demonstrators in an unprecedented repressive manner.
