Mr. Morsi’s whereabouts and condition are unknown, and arrests of the Muslim Brotherhood leadership are ongoing. How this can be construed as a “preferable tyranny” is beyond me. Mr. Will alluded to a totalitarian government as “a boot stamping on a human face.” But these facts suggest it’s an Egyptian military boot and the face is that of the Muslim Brotherhood.
