A lawsuit against two psychologists who helped design the CIA’s torture program will go to trial, U.S. District Court Judge Justin Quackenbush ruled Monday in Spokane, Washington. The American Civil Liberties Union is suing the psychologists, James Mitchell and John “Bruce” Jessen, on behalf of two CIA detainees and the family of a third detainee who froze to death in a CIA prison.
