The Head of State emphasized that achievement of peace was a top-priority. „The first task is peace. Today, at 5 am due to the difference in time, we discussed with President Putin the ways to stop these terrible processes. One cannot deny that it is necessary to stop the deaths of people,“ the President said.
Petro Poroshenko stressed that all Ukrainians wanted peace, thus, he would struggle for it. „The people of Ukraine are 100% for peace. Politicos want to play war. I would like to say that I will not let them do it. We must jointly struggle for peace,“ the President noted.
