Mujica had strong words for the bailout package that Greece was forced to accept that was proposed by its EU creditors, particularly Germany. The deal will involve Greece making drastic spending cuts, and impose austerity measures in order to receive the necessary loan from EU creditors and be able to stay in the eurozone. “Germany imposes not only its economy, its high technology … the Germany of today rules Europe. In the end, its decisions are inhumane and imposing. Take it or leave it. And, of course … the rest of Europe somehow nods,” said Mujica.
