The main opposition Republican People‘s Party (CHP) has harshly criticized the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) over allegations that the government provided logistical, military and medical support to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants fighting the Syrian regime, highlighting that the government should be held responsible and be punished for its deeds.
