VIENNA – A breakthrough was made on Saturday in the talks between the major powers and Iran on one of the key issues dividing the sides in the effort to reach an agreement to curtail Tehran‘s nuclear program and lift economic sanctions.
While the advance is still in an unofficial draft form, both Iranian and Western diplomats spoke to journalists about the bridging proposal which would address the thorny issue of who decides to re-impose economic sanctions on Iran if it does not comply with any future agreement.
