Automatisierte Gesichtserkennung Gesetz gegen „Morphing“ geplant

Die Bundesregierung hat ein neues »Gesetz zur Stärkung der Sicherheit im Pass- und Ausweiswesen« angekündigt. Die für die Beantragung von Personalausweisen oder Reisepässen nötigen Lichtbilder sollen demnach nur unter Aufsicht von Mitarbeitern der zuständigen Behörde aufgenommen werden dürfen.

US Congress ratified a bill in 2016 for 38 countries with US visa waivers to limit their travel to the US if they travel to Iran and a number of other countries…. Now that the decision has been implemented by the Iranian government, the citizens of these 38 countries can travel freely to Iran with no more concerns for traveling to the US.

EU agrees to visa-free travel for UK citizens even after no-deal Brexit

EU ambassadors agreed on Friday that Britons travelling to the bloc’s borderless Schengen area – made up of 26 European countries – should be granted visa-free travel for a short stay.

This is defined as 90 days in any 180 days.

Pakistan plans to relax visa policy in bid to revive tourism

“We are reviewing our visa policies. We are trying to bring 55 countries into a visa-free region, which includes most of the European countries,” Pakistan’s information minister, Fawad Chaudhry, told Reuters.

That comes after Portugal this month declared Pakistan safe for travel, while France has also relaxed its advisory on travel to the South Asian nation

Confirmation that post-Brexit visa free travel for tens of millions of Brits to Spain/France etc will incur 7 euros charge for every UK citizen for a 3 year waiver. Obviously only applies because of Brexit. Some in UK thought could negotiate this away.
